If you have a manual router, you can always make a convenient platform for it, using improvised materials - for example, plywood. First of all, you need to glue two plywood boards with a thickness of 20 mm, so that in the end you get a workpiece with a thickness of 40 mm.
Then we draw the contours of the necessary part (the upper part of the home-made site), after which we drill a hole of a suitable diameter with the help of a crown. On one side of the part you need to make a small cut and drill holes.
In the end, you should get a mount for the manual router, which is pulled together with a bolt and nut. Then we drill two more holes on the drilling machine. Next, you need to process the resulting part on the grinder.
The main stages of work
Guide bushings are pressed into the holes drilled on the sides. After that, you can proceed to the manufacture of the lower part of the site of the manual router. We cut the workpiece of the desired size and drill a hole in the center. Next, we glue small squares on the sides, and we also make holes in them.
We insert guides into the holes in the lower part of the platform. Then a spring is put on one of the guides and a limit stop is installed. Glue two wooden handles on the sides of the upper part of the site.
