If you have an old gas cylinder lying around idle, you can put it "at a loss" and do something useful. For example, you can "figure out" the original mailbox. For those who have their own home - a cool idea.
The cylinder can be used both from under freon, and small propane. In the second case, it is necessary to fill it with water before cutting.
First of all, the master draws a marking line with a marker in the middle of the container so that it can be evenly cut into two parts. Please note that from one cylinder you get two mailboxes.
The main stages of work
After the balloon was cut into two halves, it will be necessary to cut out the back wall for it. For this, the master uses ordinary sheet metal with a thickness of about 3-4 mm. Then the wall is welded to the half of the cylinder.
At the next stage, you need to make markings, drill holes, and then cut out the mailbox door with a grinder, and weld them to the hinges. You will also need to make a lock hole in the door.
Then it remains only to make a cut for newspapers and letters, to clean the case with a grinder, and also to paint.
