First of all, the author welds a box of rectangular shape from pieces of metal. One of the walls is attached to the hinges, due to which it can open and close.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author makes and installs a platform for the lattice with a lifting mechanism. The design of this mechanism itself is very simple - see the video below for details.
After that, the author makes two gears, sprockets, sets them in their "seats" and pulls the chain. Additionally, a third gear for chain tensioning is installed.
Then the master sets the helm so that it is convenient to lower and raise the platform with the grill.
Next, you need to cut the workpieces from the corners, and then weld them to the platform. The result is a grill for frying meat. Moreover, the corners themselves are welded edge down, forming "paths" along which the fat will flow.
At the last stage, it remains only to make a base for a barbecue grill. For this, the master uses sections of the profile pipe.
Inside the barbecue grill itself, the author lays a brick so that the heat from the coals lasts longer.
