To prepare this dish, in addition to potatoes, you will need the following products:
- Vegetable oil (preferably aromatic, for example, olive) - 2 tablespoons;
- Salt - 1 teaspoon;
- Ground paprika - 1 teaspoon;
- Spices to taste: for example, garlic powder.
Rinse and peel potatoes in small cubes. The size of the sticks should be approximately the same so that the potatoes are evenly baked. Dry the potatoes a little from excess moisture. Just lay it out for a few minutes on a paper towel, and in the meantime, start refueling.
The base of the dressing is oil. However, the finished potatoes will not be oily, the oil in this recipe is used at times less than when frying.
Mix a few tablespoons of oil with salt to taste. If you plan to cook potatoes for a side dish, an incomplete teaspoon of salt is enough. If you are preparing a snack for a foamy drink, salt more strongly. Add dried chopped paprika to the marinade, it will give a beautiful color to the finished dish, and spices to taste. Powdered with garlic, oregano and rosemary are best combined with fries.
Mix potato wedges with marinade. Each slice of potato should be coated with a fragrant oil mixture. It’s more convenient and easier to mix potatoes and marinade in a plastic bag. Just put the potatoes in a bag, pour the marinade on it. Tie the bag and shake it well.
Fold the finished whetstones on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper in one layer.
Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
Visually, the potato should be slightly browned, but still voluminous and juicy.
Serve the finished french fries to taste and enjoy a healthier version of your favorite treat.
