How to transfer a photo to a wooden surface

The easiest way to transfer photos to a wooden surface is to use PVA glue (or decoupage glue) diluted with water. The glue is applied evenly on the surface with a brush, then image paper is applied on top and smoothed with a soft cloth.

The paper impregnated with glue is left to dry for 8-10 hours, then the surface is wetted, and the paper is carefully peeled off. It is desirable to cover the resulting pattern with transparent varnish for wood, it can be tinted with stain.
