For quick bending of fittings with a diameter of 10 and 12 mm at home or at a construction site, you can use a home-made rebar made of bearings and sections of profile pipes.

The design of this device is quite simple, so everyone can make a rebar. Of the basic tools, you will need a grinder and a welding machine.

It is necessary to cut a piece about 30-35 cm long from a profile pipe with side dimensions of 40x40 mm. After that, it will be necessary to make a handle for a rebar. To do this, you need a half-inch piece of pipe and a section of the profile with a cross section of 30x20 mm.

The process of manufacturing a bending machine

In the profile pipe, which is used to make the handle, it is necessary to drill two through holes with a diameter of 12 mm. We insert the M12 bolts into the drilled holes, and on the opposite side we wind the nuts that need to be scalded.

At the end of the profile 30x20 mm, we make a small sample of the grinder under the sleeve with jet thrust, then we weld it. Moreover, this must be done as evenly as possible so that she "does not walk" around. On the 40 × 40 mm section of the profile, “ears” must be cut to secure the sleeve with the rod from the shock absorber.

At the next stage, a half-inch pipe arm is welded to the profile. A piece of 25 cm long must be cut from an angle of 32x32 mm, which is then welded to a square profile pipe with an outlet of about 15 mm. In addition, we insert a lining from a steel strip.

Next, a mobile limit stop is made to bend workpieces of different lengths - this will require two pieces of a plate and a segment of the stud. Then we weld the handle to the base, and install bearings on it. See the video clip on the site for a detailed process of manufacturing a bending machine.
