You must admit that this is not the most pleasant situation when, in the midst of working on a grinder, a disk suddenly breaks and a nut is tucked. And then unscrew it in the usual way, using the key, is not just difficult, but almost impossible. At least practice shows that in 95% of all cases it happens that way.

When you need to quickly replace the disk, then breaking the tool with a chisel or something else, or, for example, disassembling it, trying to remove the naughty nut, is not necessary. You really can damage the grinder by loosening the stoppers.

As they say, strength is good, but it is better to use ingenuity in this case. If this situation has not happened before, check out this method. This information is definitely useful in life.

How to quickly solve a nut problem?

The idea is to simply heat the nut that “caught the wedge”. But how? Could it be a hairdryer, blowtorch, gas burner? It is good when they are at hand, but if they are not there, then there is a simpler way. It is called “help yourself”, or rather - yourself, that is, the Bulgarian herself will cope with this.

You will need to break off the remnants of the disk to the nut. Then take a wooden beam or a stump and simply "grind" it with a nut until it is heated significantly. The nut itself will not be damaged at all.

And after it is heated to the right degree, it can be easily removed with a native key. Only when you unscrew the nut, do not forget to use heat-resistant gloves, otherwise you will burn yourself. So, without any extra effort, you can solve the problem with a jammed nut on the grinder!
