Firewood chopping with a cleaver is not easy. But, as the people say: laziness is the engine of progress. Therefore, the author offers his own alternative option, how to chop wood without straining.

For quick chopping of firewood, you will need to make a metal stand with a cleaver, which can be installed in any convenient place. Of the basic materials for the implementation of this idea, a round pipe will be required, as well as pieces of a rectangular and square profile.

The first step is to cut the workpiece: 4 pieces of a square pipe, two pieces of a round, and one piece of a rectangular profile. You will also need a cleaver. And preferably heavier. In this case, the author uses a cleaver weighing 3 kg.

The main stages of work

From square sections of the profile (two segments 30 cm long and two pieces 40 cm long), the author welds a rectangular frame. To the finished base it will be necessary to weld a round pipe 150 cm long vertically at right angles.

To make it convenient to cook, the pipe can be fixed with a magnetic corner. Then you need to weld together a short segment of a round pipe and a piece of a rectangular profile (perpendicular to each other). Next, the master welds the resulting part to the cleaver.

On the other side of the cleaver, another segment of a round pipe is welded, which will be used as a handle. After that, you can proceed to the assembly of the structure itself.
