From sheet metal and concrete, you can make a stylish coffee table for your home with your own hands, which will last a long time and will delight the owner with its originality. Moreover, everyone can make such a design.

To create a home-made coffee table you will need sheet metal 3 mm thick and a metal corner 40 * 40 mm.

Using a grinder, it is necessary to cut out two identical sheets of metal 60x35 cm in size from the metal. We also mark and cut two corners of 110 cm long.

Now we put the corners on the floor, set the sheets of metal perpendicularly and with the help of welding we connect all the structural elements.

The main stages of work

Welding points for a more aesthetic look must be cleaned with a grinder. We turn the structure over and additionally weld two stiffeners from the strip to the corners (approximately in the middle).

We drill in each strip three holes with a diameter of 10 mm at an equal distance from each other. Now you need a piece of three-layer plywood, which will serve as a support for concrete. Its dimensions will be 110x60 cm. We cut out such a sheet and lay it on the corners.

The surface of the tree is primed and fastened with screws to the ribs. Next, on plywood, we fasten the building reinforcing mesh with a large cell and fill everything with concrete. The solution itself is carefully aligned with the rule.

After drying the concrete, polish it with a grinder and paint it in any color to taste. When the paint is completely dry, we rub the surface of the countertop with wax and burn it with a blowtorch.

At the output we get an original coffee table, which can be made from improvised materials yourself in a short period of time.
