With frequent use of abrasive discs with Velcro for an eccentric sander, the question arises of their convenient storage in a workshop or garage. Since sometimes it takes a lot of time to find the right abrasive disc.

A practical organizer with drawers will help to solve this problem. You can make it from plywood. In such an organizer, abrasive discs of different grain sizes can be placed.

First of all, you need to saw the right amount of blanks from square plywood (the size of the grinding discs).

The number of blanks themselves can be different, depending on how many abrasive discs you are going to store.

The main stages of work

Next, you need to drill three holes in each plywood blank, and insert wooden dowels into them. The holes themselves must be drilled according to the marking, taking the abrasive disk as a basis.

At the next stage, the author cuts off two more pieces of plywood (but already rectangular) and makes transverse grooves in them. Drawers will be inserted into them. Then the master glues the body of the organizer.

After that, it remains only to screw the back cover onto the screws and insert the boxes with abrasive disks into the grooves. If desired, you can cover the body with varnish or paint.
