New Year's interior candlestick

An interior candlestick is an aesthetic element that will add atmosphere to the space, the fire of a candle will help to bring a note of romance, making the atmosphere more mysterious and exciting. To make a unique and festive candlestick with your own hands is a reasonable decision, materials that will certainly be found in your home are useful for this.
Materials for the master class:
- satin tape;
- lace braid;
- glass contour;
- PVA glue;
- gel paste red and gold;
- scissors;
- salt.
1. On the sheet we draw a bell pattern.
2. At the top of the picture is a transparent oilcloth or file.
3. A glass outline around the border of the bell. In the absence of a special circuit - mix PVA glue and gel paste of golden color until a homogeneous mass is formed.
4. Combine and mix the red gel paste and PVA glue until a homogeneous mass is obtained. It is better to put on the picture with a jar with a thin nose, but you can also use a brush.
5. The resulting mass pour the bell, avoiding the formation of gaps.
6. The bell can be decorated with gold dots.
7. Allow to dry for at least two hours, and it is better to leave for a day. After drying, the application is easily removed from the surface, turning into a film.
8. Glue the application to the jar.
9. Put the red lace on the PVA glue for 5 minutes.
10. Glue the tape to the neck of the jar.
11. The lower part of the candlestick cans are abundantly smeared with glue and sprinkle with salt on top.
12. In the same way we decorate the entire surface of the candlestick.
13. After the glue has completely dried, remove excess salt by swiping the surface of the candlestick with your finger.
14. Decorate the neck of the candlestick with a satin ribbon bow.
15. The top can be fixed with acrylic varnish or PVA glue, but over time the glue gives the surface a slight yellowness.
Our simple in execution, but at the same time elegant and festive candlestick is ready, it remains to put a candle in it and enjoy the result.
