1978 step-down transformer I found at home a 12 volt power supply used to charge batteries. It looks like this. It consists of a step-down transformer and a diode bridge (matrix) that rectifies the alternating current coming from the transformer to direct. Let’s start with it, it consists of four very powerful diodes. The brand is unknown. The only thing that was made out is “Made in the USSR”, when a short circuit occurs, the insulation on wires with a cross section of 2 mm instantly melts, and the diodes are almost cold. Read More
