The use of candles can not only decorate a boring and dull interior, but also create a special, unique mood. At the same time, candles never overload the interior, not without reason they are the main subject of decor in the style of minimalism. If you equip a room in this style, stock up on as many different candles as possible - thick and thin, rectangular and round, white and colorful, with various decorations. You can also make candles with your own hands. In this case, your interior will be even more original and unique.
To create a decorative candle, we need: a mold for the future candle, a thread pre-soaked with wax, a slice of lemon, an orange peel, small scissors, a paraffin candle, a bowl in which paraffin will be heated, a saucepan with water for a steam bath.

1. At the bottom of the mold with a needle or sharp scissors, make a small hole and stretch into it a thread pre-soaked with wax. Please note that the bottom of the form will be the top of the future candle. Outside, we tie the tip of the thread to a knot.

2. The second end of the thread is fixed in the scissors, and the scissors themselves are placed on top of the mold so that the thread is stretched.
3. Lubricate the inside with sunflower oil. This is done so that the candle easily lags behind the form.
4. In the form we put lemon slices, orange peel.

5. In a water bath, melt the wax, pour it into the mold. You need to melt a candle in a metal or ceramic bowl, do not use glass containers, since they can burst when heated.
6. Put the form in a cool place, you can in the refrigerator, but not in the freezer, otherwise your candle will turn out cloudy and ugly.
7. We make the second candle. It will be wider, therefore we take a larger form. We are doing the same procedure as with the first candle. Make a hole, stretch the thread. Melt the wax and pour into the mold. Now take the pasta and throw it into the wax until it is thickened. Macaroni, on the one hand, will make a beautiful relief, and on the second, they will form pimples on the surface thanks to the air that is available in them.
8. We also put the form in a cold place.

9. When the wax has frozen, take out the candle. If she herself does not leave, she does not need to be picked out. Just hold the mold over the fire or over the same steam bath, the wax near the walls will melt, and the candle will easily come out of the mold.

Our candles are ready, decorate them, arrange them around the room. By the way, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the melted wax, and then in the process of burning the candle will delight you with a wonderful aroma.
